I do not usually write opinions on the forum but I will do for once.
I think this survey was a good idea, and I would actually like to see more in the future.
I would like to thank Hej for makingit, bc he was in no way obliged to. Maybe he thought the results would be more in his favor, but he took the risk nonetheless, and it should be noted.
While I do not always agree with Hej ideas, and in particular stances, I have also agreed several times with changes he proposed.
Now coming back to doing more surveys, I agree with a lot of people here that a Google survey is not the best way, mainly for privacy reasons.
We have here a good tool to make surveys on the forum, although limited to one question, but I think we do not need to make surveys like this, with several questions, that often. Sure, it would not prevent alt account, although it is easier to detect them here (brand new accounts, 0 posts, identical IP for multiple accounts, etc.). They could as easily be advertised than a Google survey and would not require more than registering to the forum wrt registering to Google.
For example, for balance changes, a survey could have been made in the relevant post, that would have corresponded to question 9 ("Which of the following changes do you agree with?") with an additional question that would be "Have you voted" to get the total number of votes.
I would really look forward seeing more surveys on this forum. This is not to mean that devs would have to follow the results of the survey, but it would allow them to get the feedback from a biggest portion of the community than only the Discord/forum/Reddit/YT community, as was shown by this survey.
